PS2 Games
I've got around 80 sat at my mums house that I don't play anymore, are they worth anything if I was to trade them against something at somewhere like CEX?

Dunno about CEX, but if you play any current-generation titles (PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Vita) then you could always try trading them in for store credit at GAME or Gamestation. You can get cash for them from these stores too, but they will always give you less cash than they would give you store credit.
Alternatively - sell them on eBay - either as a job lot, or as individual items. If you start them as individual items, put them in as 99p each with no reserve, and see how high people will bid for them.

Re: PS2 Games
Game are a ripoff and don't take PS2 games anymore. Gamestation used to be decent for older games but now are just another brand for Game.
Ebay I tend to avoid these days. Some stuff I've sold on ebay that I thought I'd get ok money for either didn't sell or sold for pennies!
If you have rare titles / classics (for example, I have Rez) these can fetch a bit more.
Amazon have a decent marketplace that you could use eg. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listin ... dition=new and stuff tends to get sold at sensible prices.
Avoid the Play.com Playtrade marketplace, an absolute shambles and poor customer service.
The early PS3 60GB also had software emulation, you could get one as a Bluray/Media centre, PS3 games and also play (most) of your PS2 games. Unfortunately Sony decided to take this function out of later PS3s (though the XBox 360 can play a good lot of Xbox1 games).

I've got some rare ones I think, like Zone of the Enders and Dark Cloud! Some of them I will keep, even if I don't play them! I don't really expect to get much more than £30 for all of them, but I left them at Mums when I moved out and she's sick of them lol.
