This info was gathered from the italian Wikipedia so not-so-sure, later I can check with Autodata.

EDIT: ok idiotic me, I could check with another program, the engine is a D4164T which is the same as DV6TED4 for PSA 8)
So the heart of your car is still French. And half german 'cause it's developed with BMW. And the car is scandinavian. Nice mix! :cheesy:

You do realise in 10 years time, when most 406s have been turned into washing machines, this board will either die a death (like the BX 16 valve oc did, very sad) or we'll have to rename it.
