The Forum's fit to burst?

Post by Welly »

Has this place been crammed with too much info? each time I click 'submit' I get the impression the Forum's thinking "oh god, not more data" and kinda squeezing it in a gap somewhere?

Had loads of errors this week or been left 'hanging' only to find the post did actually make it in behind the scenes :?

Do we need to delete some old stuff maybe?

Just thinking of keeping the cost down, it won't be fair if Nick's struggling to keep up.

Sorry just read we're already talking about this in the 'printer' thread.

At least I raised the issue properly

We had quite a few posts about that sort of thing a while ago, mostly from the USA and all spam

Btw I'm not d/ling all the latest Grollywood blockbusters, it's all bluddy remakes of old films these days anyway. Or foreign films, what the f..k's that about? Are merrycan audiences that dumb that they can't read subtitles or is the US filum industry so pushed for money-making ideas that they'll rip off foreign films before they've even cleared the box office? Cnuts

Just to say that if you get an error when posting check to see if your post is there, I had 2 errors whilst posting and both my posts were there.

Now I'm not one to jump to conclusions, but it does seem to me that our beloved forum has acquired performance problems and a 'Volvo Corner' at the same time.

I don't believe in coincidence, auto boxes, front fogs, FWD, excessively tinted windows, and especially Dagenham dressed up as Gothenburg!
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

haha

The forum must have slowed down to allow the Volvo drivers to keep up.

(Feels like it ought to be something to do with indices on the database.)

Steve you'll be lucky to get one good film a year from America these days and the stupid fukas bin fantastic tv programs before they end the first series, all i can say to that is the American public have different tastes to us.
They've even tried ripping off Britt series like Shameless (what a load of crap remake that is)
