Made by GT who seem to be an Asian tyre co that have been about for a while, the word seems to be they're quite good for cheap tyres. Dunno about the M&S, if it's not got the snowflake on the mountain thing it's pretty meaningless.

Late response alert!

Champiro's were made for and marketed by Kwik-Fit as far as I know.

They're budget tyres but not bad tyres. We had some on an FTO we had; typically you might find them a bit noisy and let go easily in the wet (just what you need  ).

Cheers welly,

ive left the Tyres on for now, Had the local tyre fitter look over them and he rekoned they where ok, and Safe,
and that there the middle of the range for that brand.

Tbh there not not noisy, and fairly ok in the wet,

it was just the make that put me off them at first, idont mind budget tyres but id rather not have something that is going to break up like Re-moulds or something,

Going to leave them on until summer time, and just bin them with the allo'ys.

I had a set on the Carlton. Seemed rock hard, not that grippy at the front but marvellous for power slides.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Well, ifound out how good the tyres where,

theyve got me through the snowy period well,
but now theyve got to be binned, there noisy, and the driverside front, the casing on the tyre wall is breaking up,

im going to run it on a set of standard steelies that ive got till isource some decent one's.

So iguess the M&S logo means mud and snow, (winter use ) im guessing, :?

Nope, it means mud and snow - apparently there are no standards (as there are from proper winter tyres with the snowflake on a mountain emblem) so manufacturers can stick it on whatever tyres they like.
