Yeah, it has been. Maybe it's because you've stopped buying loads of cars :P

The remaining 406s must be behaving -- except poor benczuk.

Been a shocking week here: all bits and pieces of fiddly jobs, and a n important client deadline today.
Also starting to get a bit worried about the cold I've had since last November.
Anyway, week off week after next. Am going to Blackpool, full board, mainly to eat and sleep (you can get really good rates at this time of year).
Planning to make a lasagne tomorrow, and maybe fit my fog light. It also needs washing since I went to Sheffield and it got covered in salt. Three gritters, all running, just north of Leicester Forrest services

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Very sorry to hear that trem.

Sonia joining has been pretty exciting this week.

Ta lozz, I will :D Used to go loads when I was little, and we always had a really good time. Last went to the same place in 1991. Am mainly looking forward to cooked breakfasts and doing nothing :)

Right: it's sunny here so I'm off to sink my naive enthusiasm into my fog light and fan... (Any tips on getting to the bolt for the passenger side headlight that goes into the wing?)

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

I managed to get a socket on it, it's a bit fiddly but doable. Once it's out a bit you can do the rest by hand.

Spoke too soon with the "both are behaving" comment above - offside coil spring snapped on the HDi this morning :(

Firstly: Sorry to hear of that Trem - my best wishes are with you and your family during this incredibly tough time. I lost my Grampy in 2011 (Seems so long ago now) he suffered late in his life too and as much as I wish he was still with us today its purely for my own selfish reasons and I am glad he is no longer suffering now, and he is flying high in Heaven, not suffering. The pain and suffering he had to endure tugged at everyone's heart strings (as it would of with your Mum too) and when they do pass over peacefully there is that sense of relief. As much as it hurts to never see them again it is and was a release for him - and your Mum too. Please take it easy, if you need to chat - I am almost always about. xx

Secondly: Me joining has been exciting hasn't it just? Keeping you all on your toes with my women-don't-have-a-blinking-clue and blond-ness taking effect already.. You never know where I'm going to pop up next or what dumb question I'll ask next hehe

Thirdly: Have fun with your headlight to the young chap I have quoted........ I did a O/S fog light just before Christmas......... Bloody hell never again, thought I was going to have to take the bumper off lol. Ended up completely smashing the old unit out and then realized that actually, the bulb whats it does come out the unit

Yer - good luck with that...... Rather you than me :D
For a minute I thought you said you'd managed to put a sock in it then I wondered how that was possible as you posted :cheesy: Good luck with the coil spring....

i have sympathy for you when I was subbing in houses for Oldham housing years ago my eyes were opened to what I can only describe as dirty filthy twaties .one house we cleared had the bath full of shite because the toilet was full and also filled to the brim .Not as bad as my brother though ,he worked in a house where a dead dog full of maggots was in one of the bedrooms of an occupied house .He went to get the contracts manager to show him and when he returned the dirty gets had chucked the dog in the wardrobe
