Paralell Parking in belfast

Post by FarmerPug »

Some one in belfast took nearly 30 mins to park their car, it even made it on the news:

People like that should NOT be driving.

I once watched a woman (yeah - don't start with the sexist comments or else), got into her car, tried to reverse out of a car park. She had absolutely no comprehension she actually had to turn the wheel to get out, just watched her in out in out, I then ''assumed the position'' by which I mean crossed arms and settled down to watch the show - it was hilarious.

Only a few weeks ago some daft idiot (in a Peugeot) came into another car park, parked. Another car turned up along side her. Any how - she parked too close to the already parked car on the right hand side.
She opened the door, couldn't get out, so jumped back in and did the whole in out in out thing without actually turning the steering wheel. Door opened, again she couldn't get out so she jumped back in, reversed out and parked elsewhere

HOW these people pass their tests is beyond belief and women drivers like that do women drivers like me no bloody favors.

BTW my sister passed her driving test on monday, today i was working on the pug in the garage just giving it the service ie oil filters etc, so the subaru was parked round the front of the house, parked out of the way to allow cars round it. My sister come round in the kia went into the house for a while, then she wanted to go somewhere, i heard the kia reversing then the unmistakable sound of a car making contact with another car :cheesy: .

She reversed the kia into the subaru, no damage on the subaru it hit the tow bar, just a damaged fog light on the kia a new one will pop in, the rest of the bumper looks fine.
But to not notice a car the size of the forester in your rearview mirrors  The driving test must be pish easy these days.
