What a twat!

This is why I don't like doing work under my car where I live:

w**ker

Also there's a people carrier parked half on the kerb less than 2 foot from the front of the car (despite the fact i left generous room for an estate car in front of me). Not nice when I needed to drive to the hospital this morning :(

With a tow bar, I don't think I could've resisted slipping into reverse by mistake.

But then again, this geezer obviously wouldn't give a damn if he/she had a cracked bumper.

 that's mental!!

There's plenty of space behind him. He could have least have moved back a bit and left you a bit of space to play with.

Normally I'd have probably tried to start the car having forgotten to take it out of reverse... But it would really bloody hurt with my back the way it is at the moment. I had to get a taxi to take me all of about 500 yards to the hospital this morning (so I missed my appointment leading to an extra couple of hours wait), and another one back. All because of this arsehole... :(

I am das Uberparker now... 8) I actually get really pissed off with myself if I can't squeeze the barge into a gap of length+4ft first time with both wheels under 2 inch from the kerb ;)

Taken last summer. Thankfully the bonnet doesn't look too bad in this shot (trust me, it's *bad*) and you can see the broken foglamps which were like that when I bought it but thankfully still actually work fine! You can see from the state of the side of the bumper that it's had a hard life, but it just keeps on going strong 8)

You can also see where the original bonnet came up and smacked the aerial at 70mph!

Hmm I really do sit quite reclined don't I? Still, it's good for my back...

Bejesus!!! can you see out ok?

That car has worked out really well, as, I imagine, you've put a whole lotta miles on it, and it was probably cheap in the first place.

I like that sort of car, you can anonymously waft about in comfort without being 'judged' by anyone.

Cheeky sod :P I'm fairly tall and I can see the front of my bonnet without moving so visibility isn't an issue. I use another seat setting (thank god for electric seat memory!) when having a blast around the countryside or in dangerous weather conditions that's more upright and works better with a quarter-to-three steering wheel grip as normal motorway use I use around 20-to-2 with my left arm on the armrest.

Bought it about 13 months ago for £1000 with about 115k miles on the clock, it's now 153k 8)

All I've had done bar little interior jobs is 7 new tyres, new front brake pads and a new exhaust, although I've got to get the rear discs/pads/shoes replaced in the next week or so.

All in all fantastic value for a luxurious 150bhp car!

Amazing isn't it, for what it's going to cost me to fix my clutch, crank seal and engine mounting, you have bought a car and done 40,000 miles

The question is though, would I pay that again to keep it on the road? I think the answer would have to be 'yes' :)
