Anybody know any good cheap places for 406 insurance ??, cost me £500+ last year for 110 hdi 15k/yr , 6 points

406's are expensive to insure it has been discussed here before but I suppose it depends upon what those 6 points relate to. There's a firm allowed to advertise on here called Prestige - could be worth a call to them.
