A massive massive THANK YOU to Doggy for sorting Pugster out last night.
Was an horrendous journey up there, arrived 40 minutes later than expected due to roadworks, rush hour and an accident on the M40 (and someone needed a pee stop...) but we finally made it.. I am amazed at how quickly it was done and the power that's given the car.
Admittedly I got used to limp mode, on the M40 I managed a little over the speed limit
Managed better MPG on the way up there in limp mode (44.9 mpg) and on the way back 42.5mpg - but in comparison I used quarter of a tank of fuel THERE and ONLY a notch of fuel coming back
(& we were ragging it on the way back, Dave took over for the last hours worth of driving and well... absolutely floored it..)Very very impressed at the response I get from the car... will take some getting used to though!
I know Doggy had an early start yesterday and I really appreciate that he has sorted my temperamental car out!
As he was about to write on the new map, it came up with an error... I looked down at the dash and the immobilisers fault was on, so off and on with the key again and that sorted it...
