The only experience you will get from a Sierra is sickness.

I'm hoping to order my V6 HDi Sportwagon in May. I test drove the standard HDi and it was about as exciting as an Allegro, with a plug cap missing. I've not tried the new 2.2 twin turbo, but the GF has okaye'd the necessary release of funds for the V6 and i'm only £800 or so away from paying cash. Plan is to keep it for as long as possible, like 15 or 20 years, to see me into retirement, and garage the Mi16 as a sunday toy.

I got lucky(ish) when I divorced and the equity I took out of my old house paid for my current (albeit, massively downsized) cottage, so i've been saving the what would have been the £700 per month mortgage payments, and with what i'd already managed to put aside I'm only 1, maybe 2, pay days away. hurrah.

Only problem is, I dunno which of the 3 i'll take to Pugfest and the French Car Show this year. decisions, decisions...

I hope you've got plenty of spare cash to cover repairs over the next 15/20 years :cheesy:

Make a note of the reg Geordie, we can put it up here as a 'sticky' so none of us make the mistake of buying the thing in the future.
