Having a nosey at lunch and spotted a 51 plate 2.2 exec on auto trader with a cloth interior.
Is it likely the seller is telling porkies or maybe someone sold the interior at some point and fitted cloth? I thought all exec's came with full leather?
I can't see any mention of sat nav on the ad either but he may have missed it off as it doesn't work

Whilst that does look like a GLX/GTX, the text on the wing really does look like 'Executive' to me!

Check the wing on the other side..... 
Replacement wing from an exec onto a GLX? The lower dash panels are grey, where as the execs are black. Has anyone here tried to swap them over, not an easy job to do.

Ah, suspiciously blank! Yes this isn't an exec. Could be a genuine mistake on the part of the advertiser though

An early full-mux GTX, is my guess since it has cruise.
I noticed it only had a badge on one wing too and some of the shut lines don't look too good, which makes me think it may have undergone some reconstructive surgery.

i wouldn't be surprised if it was an Executive as reading some of the posts on various Peugeot Forums, they did seem to have the knack of making-do to get their cars off the production line. Never seen cloth electric seats before. How common are they?
There was a dodgy dealer in the area some years ago. Bought a lot of metal 'Limited Edition' stick-on badges and vinyl pin-stripes. Next minute all his cars were advertised as 'Limited Edition's with a relevant price hike.

I thought electric cloth seats were the norm for the GLX - mine has them anyway.

aye, same here. cloth, electric but no memory so I have to sit for 10 seconds almost every time I get in as the wife has moved it forward. Worst. Idea. Ever.

Looking at the ad it specifies private sale so I suspect one of the employees at the garage has swapped a rough interior for a lower spec but better condition one or sold a nice leather interior seperately to make a few extra quid.
I must admit if I replaced the SE with a lower spec model I'd do an interior swap prior to sale so maybe he's done that?

Could well be, my C5 SX has an exclusive interior fitted by me.
