Mine's just been! Only failed on a balljoint so happy days! New one on and it flew through with no advisories :)

Jasper, any problems with either motor there's a good mechanic on the forum who's name eludes me for now. He's very helpful tho

Didn't go quite to plan....406 estate passed with no advisories :D
Only done 2,400 miles in the 406 estate!

I was going to take my van until i looked at the mot for the 407....It ran out on the 13th  so I took the 407 instead...
Passed with advisory on inner steering rack ball joints have slight play and rear discs slightly worn...nothing wrong with the discs!
Almost 14,000 miles done in the last year.
I just finished a major service on the 407 :cheesy:

Van is booked in 9am friday.

Well done with the 406 & 7. 8)
Considering who's driving and maintaining the van, (not to mention the patent security system), I can't see that being a problem either.

I'm not sure about these MOT 'advisories', I'd say if any steering/sussy component has 'play' then it's only going to get worse and should fail really. And commenting that discs look slightly worn is a waste of Ink in my opinion.

Did you mean the inner tie-rod ends of the rack? I had to replace those on the Volvo, I could 'feel' the play in them on Motorways and a bit of wobble also.

Yes :cheesy: It's a great car :D I love driving it!

My wife prefers driving it over the 407 :cheesy:

I need to give it a real good clean since I took loads of stuff to the tip the other day
