I know, I try to call in a few times a day for a look but I'm really busy at work so don't get the time to promote general bolox talking like I used to.
I also have increasingly less pug related input, it's been 2 years since mine was superseded and my failing, old memory doesn't allow me to be useful anymore
Never mind eh?

The Volvo's gawjuss ta, it really is a very nice bit of kit! Drove my Boss' new 5 series Beemer home from Southampton last week and, as nice as it was, I'd take the Volvo over that any day!
I've had the Volvo over 2 years now, although the Pug sat in the garage for more than a year after it was replaced, so it was actually the first anniversary last weekend of the road trip to Blackburn to deliver it to John. I do miss the Pug if I'm honest but after 10 years with it, I'd be amazed if I didn't

I've fell out with 'pugs ATM.
After spending just over a grand in repairs on a 56 reg.
One wouid expect a modern car..to have a long shelf life..but less than 80 miles the thing was more or
Less clapped out..fecking thing..
Modern french stuff is tat.. everything's plastic.. either falls to bits or spits oil everywhere..
Never again.. anyhow its fixed now..so I will stop kicking it..
'Yes 'I agree mate.. another 6. Wouid be great..
But the 'price of insurance on one 'due to my postcode makes it a car I cannot have..
Or at least it don't work out cheap anyway..
Hence why I went for something 'smaller-pug based..
I'm sure all will be well it now..touch wood'..
Its been 'serviced by the pug 'guru-jasper5 so I've got faith in it now..
We've been discussing this 'behind the scenes' as it were and yes it seems we need to change or expand in some way to either attract or keep members active. Sadly many forums end up with a handful of regulars an no-one else feels like they can join it I hope that's not the case here though.
Lots of members have moved on from 406's and of course lots of 406's have been scrapped or have fallen into the hands of owners who just don't care enough. As said though the 406 was the car that Peugeot 'got right' in history so it deserves some support.
Any ideas for adapting the Forum are welcomed.
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work
While I am still a Peugeot owner, I have, mercifully, not come across any major issues on my 407 other than the broken heater flap and the knackered wheel locking bolt I had to drill out
I want to blank the EGR on mine, a la rwb, and perhaps deFAP with a gentle remap so may come back soon!
Strangely, Chrome suggests a spelling alternative for "Peugeot"....
