Hello mate how you doing ?
Im going to view a few 2moro in wakefield. This dealer specializes in MPVS and has quite a few 807s on sale.
The first one i wanna see is a 2008 2.2 170bhp with auto box. Full leather.
2nd is a 2009 2.0 140bhp manual box. Half leather. Sat nav.
Just cant decide which engine to go for. My mind saying the manual 2.0 140bhp but i really wanted full.leather and that one hasnt got it only half.

Hi.
Tbh. IMHO automatics are pretty cool..but when they go wrong
Theyre a money Pit..sometimes too un-economiacal to repair..
At least with a manual..problems can be solved .
I'd go with a manual anyday..obviously you gotta watch out for one that's still on its
Original dmf.
If you hear of any of the 'sellers saying ' its just had a new starter motor..might give you a warning sign.

Re: 2.0 or 2.2
My daughter's got an 03 2.2 HDi 807 executive, which has obsinately refused to have all its electrical woes resolved, despite my best efforts.
My advice? Check absolutley everything works, then check it all again.
I would always go for the manual. All 2.2's will have a dpf, it's possible early 2.0's might not have, but the 140bhp variety will have one.
Look through the history to see if the 'Antipollution Service' has been completed - look for evidence of additive replacement etc.
2.2'S with Bosch EDC15 series ecu's can be de-fapped easily / cheaply

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)

Re: 2.0 or 2.2
Btw, the later DPF systems are much more reliable than those found in the 2.2 HDI 406 coupe and don't generally cause too many issues.
