RIP Lou

Post by DaiRees »

I'm sad to report that I've just read some shocking news on Facebook. Our very own Lou (Puggy) passed away last night. I only met him the once but had many, many humorous exchanges with him over the years on here and on Facebook. He was one of life's great characters and the world will be a poorer place without him. Rest well Lou.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind me posting this one more time, we had some laughs that day...

Oh no, that's a shocker..!!

I never had the pleasure of meeting Lou, but his post always had a certain 'charm' to them.

Please can you pass on my thoughts to Lou's family.

That's really sad news. I thought he had the all clear what, 3 years or so ago? He's not been posting much lately but it was always good to know he was still going.

Thanks for letting us know Dai. if you're able please pass on our condolences and, if possible, can we send some flowers?

That is really sad news. I only met him once about 3 years back and yes, he certainly was a character.
Lou had a great sense of humour, many of you might remember our banter in the early days?
He was a kind and generous soul too - as Dai says, the world will be a poorer place without him.
Puggy helped make this forum enjoyable, informative and had me in stitches a good few times.
Rest peacefully my friend.

Very sad news this.

I've not met him but have had numerous funny postings with him over the years. I could tell he was a kind and helpful chap and certainly a great loss to this forum and the friends he made here.

Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Really sad to hear about Lou passing away!

I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times...I did his clutch for him plus the timing belt and water pump.
He was a great character and will be sadly missed :(
He loved to see my old dog, Jasper. I have a photo that he took of Jasper which I treasure...thanks Lou!

Rest in Peace Lou.
