So when do you all slope off for Xmas?

Post by Doggy »

Muggins here will escape around 1 pm Friday, but judging by this morning's traffic a few must already have kicked 2016 into touch.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

2016 can FRO for me so I'm planning on finishing this Weds afternoon* and wont be back until the Thursday of the first week back in Jan and don't even want to think about what the date will be then.

To be fair the Construction industry disappears up its own arse at Christmas so everyone buggers off and leaves me alone, fine with that. In fact if most of said people stay stuck up their own bottoms in 2017 that's also just fine.

Off? Off where? :? I think t'wife is working until Friday (or she might not be, no doubt she's already told* me how she's working and it's my own fault that I didn't take it in because I was too busy watching youtube/a movie/asleep/not actually in the same room at the time): I never really thought much about Christmas anyway but now it's the anniversary of the day my lovely sis-in-law Tanja died, so that will be what the day is about, rather than spending money and stuffing my face.

Ollie - I've just got off the phone with your boss and the oil change you did last week on the Airbus A380 is leaking a bit, pilot reckons you didn't torque the sump nut enough; he's 'murdered' it up as much as he can using an adjustable spanner from the BP garage but they're asking if you'd pop back to look at it?

I said that would be ok obvs.

Well if it's running OK now then I'd let it develop. Be reyt.

Done on Friday but have to go in on Wednesday, and I did a bit this morning as I slacked off a bit a couple of days last week. Not back while 5th and first full week starts 16th.

All depending on what busts and has to be fixed just that minute.

Actually I've got to collect Welly_Junior from that Luton Airport on Friday 23rd morning and the baggage-handling operatives/staff might* be stood outside in the cold waving signs around and moaning about sh*t.

Expect slight* delays..........

Seriously if you don't like the job then FRO I'm sure a load of foreign lads would do the work; better, faster and with less Tea Breaks

I don't suppose those baggage tractors can go fast enough to do any damage :supafrisk:
