Hey folks did a silly thing and lost the one key that starts our 206 last night :-(
We have the original remote key that opens doors, and turns engine over but at some point it has lost its transponder chip.
A bit of research suggests it can be replaced fairly cheaply and if you know someone who has the right software they can match it to the management system.
A company down the road from me has offered to replace the transponder but want £145 plus £25 for getting the keycode for the pleasure. The fact I can get a transponder for £5.99 on ebay, and that I don't need to cut a key means there has to be a way to do this cheaper?
Anyone here who can help code a transponder for 206?
