Fuse panel image

Post by piglet »

In the 10 years I've had the car I've never had fuse problems.
Cars now blowing dipped beam bulbs and now it would seem a fuse.
Haynes manual has a drawing for a 'Passenger fuse panel'
But all I can find is a small one N/S in the engine bay which I assume is engine management.
And a larger panel over the drivers feet, but that is nothing like the one in the Haynes and doesn't have any numbers.

Haynes says dipped fuses are 31&32 for what it's worth.

Thanks

The passenger fuse panel is above the driver's knee.

Haynes  These diagrams are from somebody's handbook, they're not perfect but seem to be more accurate than most

Passenger compartment, as opposed to passenger side of the car....
I think the headlight fuses are little red ones in the engine bay fuse box, maybe 10 and 11 - can't remember exactly.

They all have, A to F are the fuses in the BSI, which is below and behind the fuse panel (over the driver's feet...)

There is a handbook online if you need to look for fuses etc - go to infotec Peugeot and select your language first then model type.
It's free, which is always a bonus

Found the long lost owners manual.
Fuse 9&10 engine bay.
One is blown. Of course I havent got any of those diddy ones.

Next question, why has it started blowing bulbs & fuses.
Thanks

When a lamp filament breaks, it sometimes causes an internal short circuit that blows the fuse, (which is doing its job protecting the wiring).
Fit a new lamp and fuse, that will probably be the end of the issue.
