Not Peugeot? What sort of parts? I'm thinking lhd-specific, like a steering rack or a brake servo?

This on popped up recently on the Coupe forum.
It's aimed at supplying older cars with new parts - not sure if it's what you are after but thought I would share it..

It'd really help if you told us what you're specifically looking for :(

I've not heard of them myself, a quick search later - need a steering rack? Autodoc do them in lhd: https://www.autodoc.co.uk/mapco/2034475

I'm not sure you'd be able to get that sort of stuff from anywhere but a dealer (or a breaker, obv.). I could be wrong of course...

I'm surprised the window motors and the door mechanism are LHD/RHD specific......

I had a quick look, the mechanisms are the same but some of the motors are different, probably for the same reason they are on most 406's - PSA cheaped out and only put the auto function on the driver's door. Same with the locks, although I really have no idea why that would be, unless PSA was one of the first manufacturers to realise they could save some cash by not fitting a lock barrel to the passenger door

Anyway, in short it's all over the place and I wouldn't like to say anything for certain without a VIN.

There's difference.. The car was converted from RHD to LHD.. Therefore the glass motor mechanism for RHD is the master on right drivers side, while on LHD the master will be on the left driver side which is the master too.. So the car was converted from RHD to LHD ..so left hand side will be the master which I need to buy.. Same for door mechanism..else the car wunt function properly..the windows will wind up not will be hanging..while for the door will only locked 1 door(drivers door of LHD)
Hope u understand..
