wheel alingment/ tracking

Post by andrew1608 »

I went to my local kwikfit to get my tracking adjusted 2 weeks ago, but after the car came out what a mess of the steering. The sttering wheel was not centered as it should be it was sitting to the right about 1 inch out. I then returned yesterday they re-adjusted it and it was only slightly out so i went straight back again and they made it worse again. I then went back late yesterday and i said i would sit in the car whilst on the ramp so 10am today it was on the ramp and i had the steering straight but then it came off the ramp it was still out.

I went into Edinburgh yesterday afternoon to the Dundee street branch and they said to get a refund from broxburn and they would use laser adjustment at over £60 as this is required on a 406, but why were there other branch happy to do it 4 times and still have it wrong. I am thinging about going to my local peugeot workshop and getting them to do it. It is very annoying as my indicators do not cancel when i finish a turn. Anybody got any ideas.
