Re: Passed mot again!
Well done. I think my first one had done about 250k and then only failed due to BSI water ingress. Probably the most reliable car I have ever had - and the best headlights.

I might treat it to a new A/C condenser now and get the A/C back up and running.

Re: Passed mot again!
Good news, it's always nice to get a pass - especially one with only one advisory
I think our cars have much the same mileage - I think the last time I looked I was on 176k.

Well done young man.
They've got a nerve giving you an advisory for an item that's not supposed to be tested, (AFAIK).
Come to think of it, my camper got an advisory this year for a corroded main beam reflector.

Re: Passed mot again!
I had a MOT fail due to a "fog lamp light beam too diffuse" (or something). So I removed the light bulbs and then the MOT passedgrasmere59 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 31, 2022 6:44 pm Well the old girl lives to fight for another 12 months, passed the MOT today with just one advisory for a front fog lamp not working, 174k on the clock and still plodding on!![]()

I'm going for the 19-th anniversary MOT in november, plodding along at 420 K miles on the clock. Yours is barely run in

Re: Passed mot again!
I threw my 406 in for it's MOT today, only 6 weeks late...
I did also give it the obligatory yearly wash too.
Passed
Only advisory was a mismatched front tyre ( I had to fit the spare ) and slight rust on the rear cross member - still okay for a few more years though.
Another year of abuse for the car - I'll start it off by moving furniture on Sunday
Hope everyone is well?
