Good injector/engine cleaner?

Post by Benner »

Have been thinking it's time to be running some injector cleaner through my car. In the past I have always used Cataclean which was recommended by a friend of mine. This seemed a good product, but having tried nothing else I have nothing to compare it to.

Has anyone found any particular brand to be any good?

Thanks.

I've tried loads of brands, running them in bloody high concentrations, and they've all done jack :(
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Yay!!

I'm just happy I've got a response! :D

When I've used it I THINK it's made an improvement, but it might all be in my head as I'm looking for a difference.

I used to use Redex, but now I use this in both my pugs. Compared to Redex, I felt a bit of a difference. What I usually do is put it on half way while filling the tank. A few mates of mine always stick in Skick 50 when they change their oil, but I have heard mixed stories about Slick 50. Is it any good?
