Gumball 2007

Post by wes1001 »

If anyone in the south is interested the gumball leaves Pall Mall on sun and they will be on the M20 heading towards the coast from about 5pm onwards. A bunch of us usually go to a flyover near Canterbury and you can see them all coming from about a mile off. There's gona be a black and white Veyron which i have heard the owner has installed some techno wizard gadgetry on that means it's virtually invisible to the ole radar guns :cheesy: , and assorted other hyper cars peeling down. The Mclaren mercedes makes a sound that has to be heard to be believed - straight from heaven 8)

Where else you gonna see and hear probably £5,000,000 worth of motors for free :!:

Think about it, if I can get some traffic boys out on the M20 it will slow the convoy down, making for better photo and video opportunities through Maidstone.

No worries, just checked and i'm not working! So I will get my camera out and go and sit on Junction 5 or 6 of the M20.

Have emailed traffic police at coldharbour and they have told me that they are already aware and there will be an operation in place already.

Heres an Enzo and a Veyron with a lambo and a porsche ( middle lane in the background ) a'pootlin down the M20 - not !!!!. Don't know if it was the Enzo or the Bugatti that dropped down a cog and gave it a bootful as they went under the bridge - but bejesus what a glorious sound

Wicked! I was stood over the M20 between J4 and J5 and it was easy to see all the motors coming.

Loads of Range Rovers, porsches and loved that Bugati Veyron, he spanked it under our bridge also. (It gave me goose pimples hearing it that close, it was something that words cannot describe.)

Just stood on the bridge watching the atmosphere was electric.

Also the first gumballer to get pulled by the police (my mate by the way, who was dead chuffed with himself) was the black Lamborgini Gallardo, and he got 3 points before even leaving kent, right under the bridge we were stood at.

When I got back to work later in the evening at Coldharbour, all the traffic boys were stood around discussing 'who pulled what motor' and the fastest speeding ticket issued. lol.

Got some pics and videos but they all came out shite as the cars were too fast. Gutted I missed Alexander Roy in the Team Polizei car, he went hacking through early ahead of the main pack.

After the missus got bored on the bridge, we had a cruise down the M20 in the 406 and got passed by tons more cars.

All in all worth the wait. Next year were going to Pall Mall to seem them off.

not sure which one, but I would guess the Bugati Veyron. When it went under our bridge it sounded fast and looked like it was travelling at a high speed, 140+ easily.
