Hello all

Post by festers »

I'm an americn living in England and I just bought a 1997 glx saloon 2.1 diesel and am very happy with it. Great car so far (lucky it had only 46,000 miles on the clock) with no problems.

So as I said hello all and happy motoring!!!!!

Hello all

Post by neilirwin7 »

I am Neil from County Armagh - N.Ireland - currently driving my 4th 406 - best yet, a V6 Auto Estate. Graduated from 1.8LX to 2.0 Executive to 2.0 SRi to latest silver cruiser. Learnt a lot along the way but still learning thanks to Peugeot's infamous reputation for reliability - wouldnt have it any other way. Yet to see another 406 V6 Estate in Northern Ireland. I am married with young son and mortgage so car getting less attention than normal. Thanks for the site

Hi

I'm Atle, a member of Peugeot-Sport-Club-Norway.

The last 5 years I had a 91 405 estate. This spring I bought a complete MI16 donor-car and moved engine, gearbox, radiator, suspension (both front and rear), brakes over to the estate. That certainly made the 405 fun, and I enjoyed it all summer and fall. But when I came across a cheap 406 this month I didnt need it anymore, so it was sold.

The new one is an old policecar which I got from the second owner (who had it for 3 years).
Its a white 97 406 estate with a 2.0 lump and 285000km on the clocks. The car is not a pretty sight. Pretty much everything is worn out or broken. I need a donor car! So if any of you have a D8 406 estate 2.0turbo or 3.0V6 with black leather interior and less than 100kmiles for less than £2000, i'm interested!

Easy Niz........ :? :?

When I used to drive 'round in a Nova and pissheads used to try to flag me down I used to shout "do I look like a f***ing taxi?" Since then I've had a Mundano and 2 406s..... so that kinda doesn't work anymore :?
