BAD to WORSE! bloody cars

Post by Bonez »

what a week!
last week was MOT time on my new 406 executive turbo i knew it wasnt going to pass just had a feeling
so got it in and it needed tyres, track rod end and an exhaust down pipe ring ow and rear brake pads
got all that done come to over 200 big ones! thought yeah cool drive time.
the clutch was juddering badly but thought nothing of it BIG mistake! went to go fishing earlyer and drove down the road come to the end foot on clutch went to pull off and the pedel didnt come up thought balls its f*cked! and how right i was the release bareing has gone thou the presure plate, well thats what my brother thinks anyway. will find out when i get it off.
so theres another god knows how much thats on top of tax i just put on it friday!
going to give it a bloody good service and cam belt while i'm at it aswell

but it doesnt stop there! this morning i put a new clutch in my 205 cabriolet as its been slipping for the last 2 years lol so did that started it took it for a drive all ok i thought lol yeah BIG mistake number 2 as after that happened with the 6 i jumped into the cab and guess what the starter motor is shafted! GREAT!!! more money! and was just about to put that up for sale

my weekend of luck with cars didnt end there ow no they chucked even more sh*t at me
borrowed my brothers 405 STDT and the battery was dead jumped that left it for a while took it for a little drive to charge it a bit and then i noticed i needed diesel. drove into a petrol station filled up went to start it and no joy it was dead! had to bump it on a petrol forcourt! thank god no one else was filling up!

so yeah i'm having a grand time of it this weekend!

lamin heck mate- you aren't having much luck lately. You need to get the turbo nutter sorted and on the road.

Perhaps you houldn't have sold your best car to me...?

Any pics of the 406 tubby?

DMF's have been arround for years, the idea is to cut down on vibrations cause by the engine going through the transmission/driveshafts etc.
