Dogs & Pugs

Post by sollyboy »

Hi Puglovers
Any one got any good ideas how to remove dog hair from the boot space from the material which covers the boot space and the shelf , the guy I got the car from had a old dog with white course hair which just wont come out using the dyson with a brush on it , and its everywhere its like velcro. The cars mint in side apart from the boot space, shelf and roof liner . All the best

That's disgusting. You've had a small dog wiping it's sweaty ring piece all over your parcel shelf etc. not to mention dangling it's cheesy nads on your carpeting - Dirty Dog, Dirty Dirty

My Mazda MX6 suffered the same white dog hairyness, I still don't think I got them all out when I sold it on :|

The boot carpet on the 406 is a bitch to get 'normal' dirt out of so the very best of luck to you with the hairs   :P

around your hand sticky side out ... now press the palm of your hand onto the carpet and the hair should
be picked up .... and welly i wonder what you were up to having a dog in your car dragging its dangly
bits ...... you didty boy   :D :D
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

The sellotape is a good bet. Tghe get dog heair out of the carpets in the car (simular material), the hoover is no use, best thing you can use is a brush, like the brush that comes with the hoover attachments, or maybe a dustpan brush, but you need to brush righ it, and over and over again. It sounds more effort than it is.

I don't tend to get a lot of dog hair in the car though, the dog always goes on a special mat covering the back seat, and only odd hairs manage to creep under from him getting in and out (I miss back doors sometimes, particularly in Ikea at the weekend!!)

Now you are either taking the piss here, or you really do need some spelling help.
