My 406 Just had its MOT today and it ....

Post by GeordieBoy »

..... FOOOKIIINNNN PASSED. :cheesy: I think the tester must have been blind or just pissed, but anyway it PASSED with 4 Advisories.

1. OSR Tyre on the limit
2. NSR Tyre on the limit
3. Handbrake only works 16% efficently (typical 406 aint it)
4. OSF ABS wire chafing

I put the car in for the MOT early as it is not due til 17 July, but as its passed its now due 17 July 2008. :cheesy:
12mths MOT should make selling it a bit easier, I just put it back in the paper at a higher price at £2,600 ONO.

Best £40 I ever spent on my 406.

Anyway, did anyone miss me? I been away to Benidorm for passed 2 weeks.

£40 is the going rate up here from independent garages, Main Dealers might be £50 ish tho.
Little Bills does MOT's for £10, but its guaranteed to fail on something.

Aye thats London tho, always more expensive down there, surprised it aint more there.

Altho I think the Gov make a Max price garages can charge.

I'm thinking of getting me Sierra MOT'd soon, even tho it aint up til August I cant drive it cos it needs new engine.
So wanna know what its gonna fail on b4 I pay for new engine etc.
