on my way home last night i was driving along and noticed a twat had parked right next to a central reservation, so i went to drive round it, when the bugger decided to pull out, i tried to stop but ended up going straight into the central reservation
thankfully the bumper took most of the impact, but it still looks nasty

My mum nearly had her car written off after she had to put it in a barrier after some idiot tried to over take her while trying to get ion the A1. Of course they just carried on and didn't stop!
What a bastard Theres some dangerous idiots out there.
Ive been run off the road too before. A car coming the opposite way was trying to overtake an artic over a brow of a hill at night as i came to the top i was met by two sets of headlights so i lobbed my car into a field at 60mph, i rolled a few times before it stopped on its roof. I crawled out and ran to the road to kill the guy but he had gone, there was just the artic driver stood there in a cloud of tyre smoke from when he slammed on his brakes. Problem was he didnt get the cars reg number so it came out of my insurance That was back 1998.
I often wondered how that worked. I you take evasive action because someone else is doing something silly and end up having your own accident, or worse yet hitting a 3rd party, is the original driver liable in any way? Even if you could get their details I reckon you'd have a really hard time getting them / their insurance company to pay for a collision that they weren't actually involved in.
