scrap/breaker yards in south staffs?

Post by turflayer »

does anyone know of any good scrap yards in south staffs around stafford, wolverhampton or cannock?

theres a specialist peugeot breaker yard near me (off the A449 near the four ashes if you know the area) but i was wondering if there any other good scrap yards that yeild 406 parts a-plently.

im after some new bits to make my car look abit more nicer (depending on how much it will cost!).

also does anyone know what i should be paying? (its a d9 rapier saloon)

front driver wing (mines got a line dent near the bottom... not done by me... my dad!)
back bumper (mines got a a fair few scrapes... not done by me again!)
wing mirror covers(both are scraped to hell... again not my doing)
indicator stalk (it wont self cancel and has a mind of its own)
cd/radio stalk (i broke it cleaning.... then i set off the airbag fault light (and it reminds me every time i open the door and start the engine :frown: ) getting it out so a trip to the garage is needed to sort that... though after ive finished messing around that area)
front light cluster (bracket is broken and outside is scraped after my dad went into a crash barrier, it dented the passenger wing but my dad got that fixed never bothered with the cluster)

even though its scraped here and there the thing is bulit like a tank!

also im going to fit some parking sensors and have a punt at self window tinting.. if its shite then its not a huge loss

anyways that my project over the summer! 8)

I know the area but don't know of any breakers sorry :(
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
