Football "fans" - yeah right.

Post by Welly »

Did you see all that trouble on the news last night where Rangers fans went on a rampage because the Big telly wasn't working

I hate football anyway but this country's footy 'supporters' who are violent ought to be shot IMO. That poor copper who lost his footing was jumped by a huge gang of thick twats (sorry, fans) - what's the copper done to deserve that? maybe he switched there telly off?

15 policemen and 1 police dog were injured - bloody morons the lot of them

Grrrrrrrr :frown:

I lost interest many years ago, I can't see the point in following a game that's not about sportsmanship or anything of the kind: it's about big money, if it can make thick twats who can kick a ball about multi-millionaires then there's a lot of people making a heck of a lot of money out of it. The first to lose were the "real" fans (how many hundreds is a season ticket now?) and it turned into an excuse for a spot of excercise by people who'd normally be out vandalising cars and beating up old ladies for a few quid.

Still, it gave me something to laugh about when England lost to Croatia. Again.

Anyway, are they banning teams/squads for their "fan's" behaviour yet? If not it's about time they started.

Football hooliganism is just rediculous. I really can't see why people want to beat the sh*t out of each other over a few blokes kicking a ball around. Idiots, get a life!

But d'ya know what else don't get about football? Cardiff are in the cup final tomorrow yeah? I'm personally really pleased to see a Welsh team doing well and I hope they win it, but I'm amazed how many people around South Wales are hoping they lose. Obviously Swansea have a bit of rivalry with them, so I can kind of see that (although I still don't agree with it), but there's loads of others too. "Fans" of the small club teams playing in the Welsh League want Cardiff to be beaten by Portsmouth? Why? Bloody clowns!

The other thing I hate about football is the amateur dramatics. Diving and rolling about screaming cos someone breathed on you wrong. Get on with it ya bunch of Jessies.

I don't even watch any cup finals, ever. The bits I have seen just appear to be full of free kicks and whistles and stoppages.

And what is it with these armchair "experts" watching football - why don't they play for professional teams?

The problem was a small number of hooligans that were goaded on by Manchester fans taking the mick.

I hate football too. Don't see the point in it and refuse to support the over priced footballers earning 30K a week with not a single qualification between them.

i hate it 2. right what gets me is all the stuff going on in the world like starvation and natural disarsters ect why dont they give up paying footballers and all high paid sportsmen and make them fu*£in work like us. all they do is take drugs, s$%g prostitutes and get done by cops for all sorts. GIVE THE MONEY TO PEOPLE WHO NEED IT!!!! then sport can get back to how it should be and lives will be saved. as for the so called fans. GET A LIFE they realy need to grow up. well thats my rant over with

I'll stick to rugby, a man's game. When you see some 20st mountain, running down the pitch, face covered in blood, half his teeth missing and caked in mud, you know your watching a good game. Unlike football, where they seem to be able to trip over fresh air and end up in hospital

And what warrants being paid thousands per week, for 90mins work?

I never used to, but by some strange twist of fate I'm doing IT support on event days at Wembley! It's weird being right by the pitch as the match is played, I'm not even interested in football

I'll second all the opinions above. I hate football, always have always will. I loooove ice hockey, though. There are constatnt fights and the game is so much more interesting to watch. Oh and Russia is in the finals in the World Cup of 2008... playing against Canada today  In a way, I am glad England doesn't have a hockey team - who knows what trouble their "fans" would bring
