My manager managed to crash our company demo van into my 406... It has been a very traumatic time for me.. I was used to having the odd car park deng.. or shopiing trolly scratch here and there... but now I actually have a fooked panel... you can guess I'm not very happy at all...
I thought when I got home I would get the inner arch off and knock it out... but oh no! the tank filler pipes were right in the way, so i couldn't get to the upper part of the crease... which would have popped out nicely... so in anger and yes I did try other things first.... I just bashed the hell out of it from underneath... it's not dented anymore... no now it has an ugly ripple effect... worst thing is I hand washed and polished it only days ago.. and now it's got a big frekkin mess on the rear quater ! ! ! ! ! !
Arrrrgggggghhhhhh ! ! ! !

Well he said to obtain a quote... so what I'm going to do is get one from a mate, you know for a new panel... welded on properly, not filler ! ! ... but pay the difference and get the full car resprayed... or at least see if that is an option! According to parkers price guide... insurance companies would write the car off because of it's low value !

same thing happened to my old 2.1 td estate and it would have cost over a grand to put a new panel on the car so the insurance company wrote it off . they paid out about £1400 if i can remember correctly and they let me keep the car so i was well happy cos i thought the car was only worth about a grand
