I'd get a usb jobbie and a usb hub, which'll also help to tidy up the sprawl of wires

Alternatively you could look for a musical instrument shop locally that sells keyboards/synths who might have a usb device for under £50.

I agree with mjb, get a usb soundcard. The Creative Labs gear is good if a bit more pricy.
