I thought my 96 lx model was as basic as you can get, but this is from a 97, reminds me of my old 106 xnd which had the clock in the dash too. :cheesy:

My dads first 406 had that. Those early basic 406's were spartan in comparison to the executive d9's

Just tell everyone it's a rare rotary engine that revs to 12,000 rpm, at, mid-day, like

My dad had a Morris 8, (series E), for which he made a heater matrix out of hydraulic pipe threaded through sheet steel fins & clamped together between 2 sheets of 1/4 ply wiv lots of holes drilled in them. It was 'attached' to the under-dash parcel shelf & skinned many a knee or shin - it was about 10" square by 5" thick and didn't seem to make a blind bit of difference due to lack of air circulation / fan.
But then he was a mechanical engineer.....

Reminds me of my 106 :)

Who'd like to compliment me on my parking?

And, yes, that is actually the position I left it in :)

My mates Merc 180e has a clock - I joke that it's for timing how fast it takes to get to 50! Slowest car in the world! :P
