Well, my Honda is now history (whoohoo!) as I had a slight argument with a lamp post during the recent snowy days we had, rendering it written off. Externally, all it needed was a bonnet and a front grille, but allegedly, it needed a new suspension, new bumper, cross member, radiator, condenser, blah blah blah.... who cares... Oh, and on a non-accident note, it needed a new turbo to the tune of 2 grand and a new master clutch cylinder. So much for Japanese reliability.
Anyway, since I have to take my crappy loan Civic back tomorrow, I have no car and need a new one. Naturally, I am looking at Peugeots again, as my old one has been an absolute angel to me. My dad's 106 diesel has also been relatively trouble free. I have a total of £3000 to spend and not a penny more. What are my chances of getting a decent low-ish mileage 406 HDi 110 for that money. 2.2L 136bhp coupe is better, but I know reliability on that is pretty poor compared to 110. Not too bothered about the spec but the more toys, the better

I know I am going to get kicked for this, but I notice that there are a lot of fairly decent Mondeos in the above price - is it worth looking at these?
No doubt will be back for more
