ill need to take some pics for you the way it is at the moment its nearly bare shelled. windows and the running gear is all that remains. wiring loom is half removed no dash or interior.. the engine is next to come out as its only fit for scrap metal. and once the welding is done it will be the painful experience of rebuilding it..

Well done fella, it's nice to see someone keeping classic motors going strong - they're getting a bit rare now.

I reckon the early 90's BM's were probably the best? I know 90's Mercs are reported as the best they ever were :|

E30's are great - cheap, light and RWD!

Like the Hartge wheels - Whats the plan with the 2.7 engine - ETA block to create a stroker?

not only is it the Hartge wheels but its also got the Hartge steering wheel and strut brace. im still on the look out for a Hartge rocker cover but they are in high demand. once its been resprayed ill get the stripes on to match..

the 2.7 will be getting built with the ETA bottom end and ill use a high compression head from an early 2.5 a lot of ppl will say to use the 2.5 pistons and rods but then you need to deck the block and use vernier pulleys extra where as ive built a few in the past just by putting on the high comp head and using the new motronic engine loom and had good results in the past. my last one was running with 200bhp which i got told from a "E30 specialist" that it wouldnt be possible to get more than 190bhp using the highcomp head with a standard ETA bottom end
