Are these shagged? I'm trying to send one out and it's telling me 'no such user', or words to that effect. Same thing when I tried to PM some of the mods about it.

Ok, well I got those two from you, thanks. I did indeed go via the button on the intended recipients' profiles. Will test it from my end, maybe I just upset the internets or something.

[EDIT] OK, sent one to you, Steve. I think it went OK but now it's sitting in my outbox rather than my sent box. Is that normal?

Yep, it stays there until the recipient reads it. You can edit and delete it during this time
