Woohoo!! Time to buy a gas guzzler! And what has this done to the price of crude oil? It's gone up :(

Petrol's up 2p a litre yesterday and we're already seeing the return of the que's to get some at the old price :o

Apparently we can expect another 3p in Jan (when the VAT goes back to 17.5%) and another 5p? in April

I'm feeding mine on V-PowAh at the mo and that's 109p/ltr just under £5.00 per gal :(

I did my 707 mile V6 tank on German V-Powah... bloody good stuff (although I have no direct comparison with BT Ultimate yet). I was tempted to try the V-Powah "Racing", but it was considerably more expensive

Wish there were a Shell near me, but as it is I've had to exclude it from all my fuel trials :(

Good point, I'm sure fuel's still at 17.5%. Doesn't mean the garages won't leap at the opportunity to add another few pence since everyone's expecting it anyhow

Very enlightening, just a few questions:

1. What paper can you buy for 20p?
2. Can I have the other 8 digits off your Visa card, please? (Bit skint cos I was late coming home & only got one tankful at French prices, [ €0.999 / £0.88 per litre])
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

By the way, can't be asked to start another thread but what do you reckon this is about? Is it a special edition only available to Croatia?

Number 1 = Strangely, Mrs Welly was peering over at the news stand whilst I was filling up and ordered me to buy a copy of the 'Star' which was on offer at 20p. I explained that the publication depicted some nudity and dubious journalism but she insisted :?

Number 2 = No.

@ Wiggy 23% 'stopa' eh? what's 170.36 Kilo newtons in GBP? and how many Litros was is what you got.

It's an old bill and there's other stuff on it including a bottle of gas. Current INA prices Diesel at 7,07 works out at 84.18p/litre (average wage here is 500 quid a month)

Funnily enough, I bought one of the ta... what am I saying? I bought the tabloid the other week, mainly because the front page had something about a human head being found in a discarded freezer on a rubbish tip.
