Brake fluid level low(suprise suprise)

Post by mrmetalman123 »

Does anyone know how true it is,that the front pad warning wires on a D9 are on the same circuit as the brake fluid sensor.Ive heard if you clean the conections in the plug of the wear wires you can get rid of that "brake fluid level low" rubbish that flicks up on the display.
Any thoughts so I can plan the weekend?
Cheers :D

I wouldn't have thought so
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Nah theres a separate light for the pad wear, nowt to do with the brake fluid level low stuff (unless your pads are so worn that the brake fluid's a bit low of course  )

Not only that, but there's no feed to the pad warning wiring unless the stop lights are on.....
