What... what the fork? Are you serious?

Post by swiss »

Land trains set to roll out across Europe.

Sounds like an early April Fools to me... is this where our EU fees go to, developing this nonsense?

I assumed all these super bright LED sidelights were part of the system :P
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Nah, I think the idea is the lead vehicle is like a bus driver; they're employed to do the driving for the train of cars.

And what if one of the cars has better brakes than the one behind and the first car slams on due to an obstruction in the road (deer/small child running out, etc)? I can just see the insurance claim form now...

Q. How did the crash happen?:
A. I don't know, I was busy looking through an adult magazine when all of a sudden it went off in my face (the airbag that is)...
