I have recently sold my 406, and have brought a '90 Toyota Supra 3.0i 24v in lovely red paintwork and a 5-Speed Manual Gearbox... And while sorting my insurance out, it is funnily enough cheaper to insure than the 406 which did surprise me... Well here are some pics...
I had one of those in white in 1994. Twas a '91 on an H. Handled on the limit like a 1 legged cat burying a turd on a frozen pond, but I still loved it.
I still see it about occasionally, alive and well.
The old boy who bought it has only done about 10,000 miles since then, so i suspect that's the reason for it's longevity. T'was chatting to him last year when I last saw it and he confided that the mileage was so low he was only servicing it every 3rd or 4th year
There's a different car outside his place now so I don't know if he's sold it or stashed it away somewhere.
Thanks, yeah its a great car..Its a car that you dont see on the roads anymore... and yep, i have joined up with the guys etc from www.mkiiisupra.net
I am hoping to also attend many Jap shows next year...

Japfest is in May time at Castle Coombe, Sky Insurance sponsor the show, feel free to come along and say hello. The big show of the year is usually JAE which will be midseptember 2010.
It is a big scene though so lots of shows to get to.
Spooky, saw my old one yesterday. Slightly lacy round the rear arches, but being white it's gonna show it up. Rainwater wasn't beading so looks like it's still not being particularly well taken care of, but it still trundles on.

Hello matey,
That is spooky seeing your old supra. I on further inspection of the rear arches, have come with the result of zero rust!!! which is very rare.. The only problem at the mo is that i am having trouble getting it in the garden..lol as its been lowered and has a front splitter..lol
I'm meeting up with chris next tuesday at our usual meeting place, if you're at all free you are welcome to come along mate!!!
