Hello,
Being that my old saloon is a bit bashed and scraped at the moment, and that I'm rather attached to old girl, I'd like to sell her on in good condition. If anyone happens to be breaking a China Blue saloon (D9) then I'm interested in:
The right-side front wing
The right-side wing mirror
Both right-side doors
If you happen to be breaking a China Blue estate, however, then I'd be interested in everything above except the rear door.
It would be best if the rear door was from a car with manual rear windows, as my saloon only has front electric windows and rear manual winder windows (I also checked - there is no wiring in place to allow me to retrofit electric windows)
I've also contacted a couple of "Peugeot 406 breaking" type listings on eBay this morning.
Cheers
Graeme

Bad form to reply to my own post, but here goes:
Been offered the wing, wing mirror, and both doors for £220 plus courier charge (they're in London; I'd have to arrange the courier myself).
Does anyone think it's worth doing? i.e. how much would that improve the value & saleability of the car by?

To be honest, I would've tried to sell as is first to see what price it would have fetched, but £220 for all parts to fix doesn't sound too expensive - if you're fitting them yourself that is. May even be able to knock them down to a nice round £200.
For courier, I'd recommend using www.shiply.com & wait a day or so for the best price. Sometimes you'll find that when there's a bit of competition, people lower their original quotes.
