looking for auto dim rear view mirror in black (if possible)

with window fixings ..

I assume your car didnt have it, someone i think hmbigchef put one in from a laguna

he did, but didn't he say if he could lay his hands on a 406 one he'd swap it over


There is one on ebay but it's £40 posted

Are all the mountings the same? Do the need nodding to fit?

not sure but i want the mounting with the auto mirror just to be on the safe side

Then register on the coupe club, ask ade for a price "including mountings"


It would be nice to have this on my car, as at the moment, the only other thing to do my interior is the chrome handbrake button.
However, I wish the misses job would turn from temporary into permanent.
Instead of doing anymore to my car, i'd like to get a 53 estate preferably in 2.2 hdi guise and defap it :twisted:

I bought my car with a broken mirror (wouldn't dim) so acquired one from an 806 for about £5 off ebay. The mount wasn't the same so just used the existing one, and the connector was different so just took the pins out and put them in the old plug
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

im hopeing to find 1 from another peugeot any model will do as long as its got the window mount with it,

i went tat yard for a rumage around (wanted a decent ariel) at lunch - got a mirror out of a t reg bmw 318is. your welcome to offer some beer tokens for it if you like.

The wire goes through a hole in the mount's ball joint, and up to the plug which if memory serves is just under the mount

did you get the glass mount ? how many wires are on the mirror itself ?

I got the mirror and the glass mount along with a few inches of the 3 wires.
