FOR SALE R REG 406

hello all , anyone interested in buying my 406 , its r reg , i have put full mot on it today and i taxed it on friday for 6 months , its had exec alloys fitted all with mint tires , ive fitted the cd changer and stereo from an exec and ive fitted the boot spoiler off an exec , a few months ago i replaced the head gasked cam belt and water pump ( found out it had just had cam kit done to by last owner ) .

it has 2 common faults that have never bothered me , the windscreen fan has what sounds like a chattering relay behind glove box , and the drivers side electric window works erratic in small incriments never figured out why as it opens and closes , the air con doesent seem to get that cold but ive never used the aircon anyway .

the paintwork is china blue and is in good condition appart from passanger side rear door is badly dented ( i have new door to go on it ) and there is a dent above the wheel arch that pops out but ive not had time to fit the door or remove the wheel arch liner to pop the dent out , all in all the car cleans up lovely and i would buff it and fit the door if needed .

im looking for £550 , or ill swap it for a smaller car as my insurance is mental plus im doing 150 miles a week and need something smaller and cheaper to run , if anyone is interested e mail me @ [email protected] , and ill post some photos , im in st helens just off junction 7 , .

bearing in mind ive spent £300 in last 6 months doing the head and cam belt ect and £112 for 6 months tax then £45 for mot today i think £550 is pretty reasonable .

ps , it passed mot with no advisors , while it was having brake test done the guy told me the hand brake was going to fail but i reminded him he charged me last year to fit a new handbrake cable and adjust it , so while it was up on ramp the handbrake was adjusted , not bad for an r reg .

the window might just need resetting

think you hold the buttons in the up position for a few seconds and it resets

What engine is in your pug? and miles please.

its a 1.8 16v , its got 97,200 on clock , engine runs sweet , ive just done load of work on it .
