Hi Todd.

Sorry, it's now sold to a guy from the Stoke area, who is collecting it a week Saturday.

The cutting out issues are now sorted, but I couldn't tell you what was wrong, as it seems to have repaired itself and hasn't done it since. :?

Ah, shame.. was looking for an honest diesel motor for a while now. Oh well, glad you've sold it, I hope it's found a good home 8)

That's the thing, it was an honest HDi.

The guy that's bought it is aware of the faults on it that will need repair, and he's cool with it. If you take a look on E.Bay, there are HDi's about the same age as mine with double the mileage, and the owners are asking silly money for them. I just needed to move mine on now I've bought the Scenic and therefore had no use for it.

Shame really, as I'll really miss the old girl. She's been a faithful servant over the last 6ish years. :(

Car collected tonight, so here ends my association with the lion brand. :(

However, the wife has a car from it's stablemate with the HDi engine in it, so I haven't cut my ties totally with the company. What I personally have done is move across France to the other manufacturer, and so far so good.
