Owing to the impending demise of my old saloon, I have a set of tailored carpets available for sale.
They're made my http://www.carmats4u.com and are of very good quality. They are black tufted nylon carpets, with a blue/black pinstripe border.
CarMats4U has a number of different quality grades of carpet - lowest-to-highest, they are:

The mats I have for sale are the "Luxury" mats, so they are second-from-top. They have a very good quality feel to them. The drivers' mat also has holes in it for you to put the carpet fixings through (some 406s have fixings built-in for carpets, but if yours doesn't, I have a couple of the "screw-in" fixings CarMats4U supplied).

I bought them in October last year. The mats had only been in the car for a few weeks before the car was smacked by a van, and I haven't used the car very much at all since then, so there's practically no wear on them at all.
They cost me £35.18 including VAT, and shipping was £5.99 on top of that.
