Delphi A/C compressor wanted

Post by Scrutim »

Hi Chaps,

Does anyone have a Delphi 5290 air con compressor kicking around?

Mines now incontinent, looking at replacing the seals, but need one to fit so I can still drive the thing, while I service my old one.

Now here is i coincidence. I've got one sat in the corner of my garage, waiting for a fellow, poor, HDI owner to make me a sensible offer for it. It dosen't work, but would be fine to put on your car while you fix yours so you can drive around. The other thought is that i got a brand new one from auto aircon parts people for about £296 for a brand new one. Look at this web site http://www.autoairconparts.co.uk part number 14-7486. Although it is a sanden it is a direct replacement for the delphi. I know this cause i fitted one to mine.
Let me know how you get on, cause my old one is looking for a good home.

I've got a spare Sanden too - picked it up a year or two back before I found really I needed a condenser. Free to good home.
