16'' Hoggar rims with tyres for sale

I have for sale a set of 16'' Hoggar rims for sale. 2 tyres have good tread, I will find out exactly how much when I get my hands on a digi tread depth gauge and the other 2 have a few mill left but will post exact numbers up hopefully tomorrow along with pics of the rims.

The condition of the rims is generally good, not buckling or chunks taken out of rims. One wheel needs a refurb though, just cosmetically not as nice as the others.

The reason I am selling them is because they will no longer fit my D9 after fitting Brembo calipers.

I am asking £100 collected or you can arrange your own courier.

Did you ever get round to finding out the offset on the wheels? My Hoggar wheels came from a V6 coupe with Brembo brakes.

Right. I have the numbers on the inside of the wheel...

6.5J X 16 CH4 - 20

Those are the only markings on the rims. I am guessing the "20" after the rim sizes is the offset in mm, which might explain why the Hoggars wont clear the Brembos. I am guessing they need to be 15mm offset?

Anyways, for future reference regarding people fitting Brembos who want to fit Hoggars over them, THEY WONT FIT WITHOUT SPACERS!

Not entirely accurate there - coupe Hoggars will. My Hoggar wheels are a 7 x 16 with a 12mm offset.

At least that now explains why my car looked like it had a wider stance with them than other 406 saloons & estates:





What wheels did you put on or did you have to take the Brembos off again? You could fit coupe Hoggars & it would still look standard. If you want to trial fit some, I've a set of 4 that aren't on the car at the moment - give me a shout & you can pop down & try them out.

I think we need to amend it on the forum that Hoggars from the saloon are not the same as coupe Hoggars. I fitted the brembos under the presumption that Hoggars would clear them. I had no idea that there would be coupe spec Hoggars with one offset and saloon Hoggars with a different offset.

The rims I have fitted are just a stop gap through winter until the weather gets better, thanks for the offer anyways I would have considered it if my mate didnt have that set lying around to lend me. When the weather gets better I will be fitting some team dynamics 17s with a 15mm offset which should clear the Hoggars. The rims I have at the moment came off a 306 and are 17s. Not sure what offset but they clear the brembos no problem.
