I think you'll struggle to get a tan set of trim as they seem few and far between. You might get lucky with a cream set.

Hang on a minute, is this a 2.0 petrol-engined SE-trim Coupe? Or a 2.0 HDi SE-trim saloon/estate?

Tan leather is much, much easier to get for the Coupe than it is for the saloon/estate model. Unfortunately, putting a Coupe interior into a saloon or an estate can be tricky, and ends up with you losing one of the three seats on the rear bench (the Coupe is a 2+2, the saloon/estate are full 5-seaters).

OK. Your best bet in this case is a man named Adrian Bingham, who owns a breakers' yard specializing in the 406 Coupe. If anyone is going to have a full set of tan leather, it's going to be Ade.

In fact, he does have a full set:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330669880118

For a 2001 car, this is exactly the interior you need. The leather colour is officially "Chestnut", and it is ruched leather rather than perforated. There looks to be a bit of wear on the driver's seat, but given the interior is 11 years old it's not doing too badly, and would come out well with a bit of restorative product (Gliptone "Liquid Leather" works wonders).

£175 plus postage for a set in this condition isn't bad, even better if you're near his premises because then you could go there and collect them. Ade is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. If your existing car is an SE, then it will have a leather interior anyway; perhaps he would be willing to swap or part-exchange your interior for this one?

Hope this helps.

No sweat; Ade is our go-to guy when we need something, not just for the Coupe owners, but for saloons and estates too (as all the switch-gear, electrical items (except exterior lights), powertrain and most of the other assorted running gear are interchangeable between these cars).

So, you say it's in mint condition - I think we need some photos of your motor (inside & outside) 8)

Mine is this one:
