Right just got me self a 2.1 glx £350 pick up next week so I'm breaking my s reg 1.9 for spares as I'm having the half leather interior I put in it out but there will be the glx interior out my new one engine is mint its had new cambelt water pump and is regular serviced gear box is good panels are ok need any thing inbox me and I'll sort it but won't be breaking till a week today I may also sell the car it's still motd and taxes for bout 4 months if anyone is interest but I have turned the pump and turbo up not to much but it moves quicker than it used to

if your old 406 as got tax & test remaining iwouid ebay it,
you will get far more for it selling it as runner , than breaking it,

To be honest it needs work doing to it won't pass another mot and it prob will need a few quid spent on it plus I wanna keep some spares off it got new rad and bottom water hose witch will all fit on the new if I ever need it the car don't owe me. Anything can't knock it been a brill car just looks like someone has washed it with a Brillo pad

Any idea what the paint code is mate, I've got a nice chunk missing from my front bumper and just spotted a few rust bubbles starting on the drivers side wing, I was planning to sort it in the warmer weather but if it's a paint match and in good condition I might just swap them.

D8 saloon/estate/coupe owners:

Open the bonnet.

Look at the suspension struts (turrets); on one of them there will be a four-character code stencilled on, probably in white or yellow paint (for dark-coloured cars), and probably in black or dark blue (for light-coloured cars). That's your paint code. It's easy to spot because there's no other information presented on this strut, and the lettering is fairly large.


D9 saloon/estate owners:

Open the driver's door and look at the "A" pillar; there's a sticker there. On the sticker there will be (amongst other pieces of information) a four-character code without any other description next to it; it'll look something like "EKBB" (which is the paint code for "Cherry Red", BTW).


D9 coupe owners:

Open the driver's door, but look at the end of the open door itself (not at the pillar). There will be a sticker there in pretty much exactly the same format as the one on the D9 saloon/estate.

The wheels on it look decent. Did they need spacers or were they already the correct offset?

Fitted perfect but I'm keeping them only cost £64 with tyres

Mine is red so not a colour match for panels, shame your keeping the half leather, it would look great in mine

If you do break it don't forget the blower motor for your spares cupboard, when mine went to heaven it got stripped of all lights, switches and mirrors.

BTW what stereo is in it, I wouldn't mind a cd player for mine that works off the stalk.

Original with multi changer and mfd screen and I got a non multi player one but ent sure if the other one working in me new car but If it is I'll let u no I will list the spares once I got my other one on the road ye the interior I got bout 6 weeks ago out of a 2004 plate £120 with door card sets the car off nice

He stereo is a non multi changer one so no good I got to take it alll out me old one but anything else u want let me no got a set if nearly new wheel trims on it

I got glx interior with arm rest look pretty mint just needs a good clean if anyone needs it
