When I bought them they were quite well scuffed & one of the spider caps was split. I had all 4 refurbished & the spider repaired, but the result of having the spider repaired is that they aren't in the factory standard finish. As standard the spiders have a rough texture, but these have been painted in a very close matching colour, but with a smooth finish. They still look very nice, but obviously originality fiends will be disappointed. After spending a substantial amount getting them refurbished I have been religiously careful when kerbside parking, but I did pick up a scuff to a wheel avoiding a wobbly pensioner that was passing a row of parked cars. 3 have good tyres, but one wheel is bare as the tyre was removed for a puncture repair, but was later found to be too damaged to use.
I have included several pictures of all aspects of the wheels & you can clearly see the repaired spider cap. Please examine them closely so that you can be fully satisfied as to the condition of what you are buying:
The wheels are located in Andover, Hampshire. Collection is the preferred delivery method (with cash as payment please). I'm afraid I can't offer delivery as an option as I am unable to get them down to the Post Office with work & family commitments, but you are welcome to arrange your own courier. I must stress however that you do this at your own risk as once they are collected by the courier the wheels are no longer my responsibility.
